Who We AreRudofsky Associates was founded by David Rudofsky in 2004, with the objective of providing world-class financial and strategic planning consulting services with more personal attention, and at a more affordable price than larger firms. Through our association with the talented consultants listed below, we are able to extend the range of the services we offer beyond finance and strategy, to include market research, marketing, creative development and work with not-for-profits. David Rudofsky, President David is president and founder of Rudofsky Associates, a consulting firm dedicated to helping businesses solve financial and strategic issues. Clients have been across a wide range of industries, including food and beverage, manufacturing, education, healthcare, publishing and not-for-profits. His prior industrial experience includes 20+ years in finance, strategic planning and consulting, at the corporate, divisional and factory level with Kraft Foods and Altria (formerly known as Philip Morris). He was Director of Strategic Planning for Altria, providing senior management perspectives to strategic issues, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, dividend policy and share repurchase strategy. Previously, he was Cost Manager for Kraft’s largest manufacturing plant and Finance Manager playing an instrumental role in turning around the Jell-O Pudding Snacks line. In addition to consulting, David teaches “Managerial Accounting & Finance” at Polytechnic University and has developed and taught “Finance for non-Financial Managers” for a number of corporate clients. He has been an invited speaker, for the National Association of Specialty Food Trade, Long Island Federation of Labor, Kauffman FastTrac program, and other organizations. He has had a number of articles addressing best practices for small businesses published, in the “New York Enterprise Report” and elsewhere as well as a booklet on “Best Financial Practices” which the National Association of Specialty Food Trade distributed to their membership. In July, 2006, David was recognized as a “small business success story” by SCORE, the Service Core of Retired Executives. David Rudofsky earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting at Wharton, one of the top business schools in the country. He is a correspondence chess master, once ranked 40th in the United States, and brings that same level of creativity, strategy and analysis to identifying and implementing fresh solutions to his clients’ business problems.
As President of Stengel Solutions, Geri Stengel works with for-profit companies and nonprofits, consulting on marketing issues, Internet strategy and writing business plans for companies looking for equity financing. Geri Stengel and David Rudofsky have joined forces to bring a number of challenging consulting projects to successful outcomes. Ms. Stengel has over 20 years of experience researching, positioning and marketing products and services. In 2002, she conceptualized and co-founded Women’s Leadership Exchange a for-profit company which educates women leading high-growth companies on how to take their company to the next level. She was responsible for forming national and local Advisory Boards and recruited over 150 supporting organizations to help spread the word about WLE. 1,700 female entrepreneurs attended conferences in NYC, Dallas, Chicago and Long Beach. In addition, Ms. Stengel developed the educational program and e-newsletter, “The Exchange,” which dramatically out-performed industry standards. Ms. Stengel serves on the National Association of Women’s Business Owners-NYC Board, Boardroom Bound Advisory Board and is member of Advertising Women of New York’s Executive Committee. She has served on the Ground Floor Ventures’ (a women’s technology company incubator) and American Express’s small business Advisory Boards. She is a frequent speaker, especially on topics related to women and small businesses. Ms. Stengel has appeared on CNNfn’s Entrepreneurs Only, Good Day New York on Fox 5, New York 1 News, eWomenNetwork.com Radio Show on WBAP News/Talk 820 in Dallas as well as being quoted in Crain’s New York Business, Newsday. She has taught online marketing and e-commerce at New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies, American Women Economic Development, Webgrrls and The Learning Annex. Nancy Shenker – Marketing With more than 25 years' of experience in new business start-ups and transformations, Nancy A. Shenker is a specialist in finding new sources of profits and growth for companies of all sizes. As Founder and CEO of theONswitch, she specializes in finding creative revenue- and image-building solutions for consumer, business services and retail clients, delivering significant awareness/revenue growth. She also has expertise in social marketing and e-communications as means of building brands and growing awareness/sales. She also works with companies on green marketing initiatives. Nancy's corporate background includes senior strategic planning and She served as Chief Marketing Officer for the world's largest trade show producer (marketing shows in 40 different industries), headed-up the Integrated Marketing group for MasterCard and launched all of Citibank's “model branches,” including the grand opening of the Connecticut region and world headquarters branch, forging partnerships with brand sponsors. She has extensive experience in publishing and event planning and management. Nancy also developed a proprietary database system to identify new customers, researched and launched numerous new products/services, and played a lead role in MasterCard's “Priceless” campaign roll-out.She has worked in all media - both print and electronic - and has consistently delivered record-breaking and award-winning marketing programs. She has managed large national programs, as well as small community-based grass roots marketing initiatives. She speaks and writes about marketing, public relations, social media and green marketing, and has appeared in The New York Times, Smart Money, numerous industry trades, and local media. She publishes the 10 Volts marketing series, The Handy Dandy Guide to the Web and The Handy Dandy Guide to Trade Shows, two blogs and a monthly e-newsletter called 30-Second Current. |
